How To Forward Gmail Messages to invoice.my inbox?

Before We Start

Before setting up email forwarding, you’ll need to copy your unique invoice.my email address.

  1. Log in to your Invoice.My dashboard.
  2. Your email address is displayed in the center of the screen and in the top left corner.
  3. Copy this email address (e.g., n4zvxk@invoice.my) for use in the steps below.

Step 1: Access Gmail Settings

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Go to "Forwarding and POP/IMAP"

  1. In the settings menu, navigate to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

Step 3: Add Your Invoice.My Address as a Forwarding Address

  1. Under the "Forwarding" section, click "Add a forwarding address."
  2. Paste your unique invoice.my email address (e.g., n4zvxk@invoice.my) and click "Next."

Step 4: Verify Your Forwarding Address

  1. Gmail will send a confirmation email to your Invoice.My address.
  2. Log in to your Invoice.My account and click "Validate" to confirm the forwarding setup.

Step 5: Configure Your Forwarding Settings

  1. Return to Gmail and choose your forwarding preference:
    • "Keep Gmail's copy in the inbox" (recommended for backup).
    • "Delete Gmail's copy" (for a clutter-free inbox).
  2. Click "Save Changes" to finalize the setup.

Step 6: Test Your Setup

  1. Send a test email with a PDF invoice attachment to your Gmail account.
  2. Check your invoice.my dashboard to confirm the invoice appears.
